If there’s one thing that chocolate lovers can all unite over, it’s that some bars and sweet treats should never have been discontinued.
From the Snow Flake to the Dream bar, Cadbury has stopped making and selling a number of their iconic products over the years – including some festive favourites.
But according to fans on social media, one nostalgic chocolate item from the 90s could be making a comeback very soon.
Food blogger Snack News & Reviews, recently shared a post on Facebook in which they claimed people should hopefully be able to purchase Cadbury Puds in the UK again shortly.
They wrote: “Cadbury Puds are coming back – CONFIRMED!
“Around in the late 90s these had a hazelnut truffle filling, coated in a milk chocolate shell.
“They’re showing on the Cadbury Gifts Direct website now but are currently unavailable. We’ll keep you updated once they’re in stock!
“Thanks @treatsinstore for the heads up.”
Hundreds of people have liked and shared the post with many commenting on their excitment.
One person said: “Yes please.”
Another replied: “Remember these bad boys?!”
A third posted: “I loved these when I was little.”
Someone else admitted: “This excites me.”
“They need to bring back caramel bell tree decorations,” proclaimed a different user.
The Chocolate Puds are such a firm favourite with Cadbury fans, someone has even set up a group for them on Facebook, asking the confectioners to bring them back.
First established in 2014, the group called Bring back Cadbury Puds, has recently been celebrating the good news.
It’s not yet clear when the Cadbury Christmas Puds will become available to buy. A page was created for them on the Cadbury Gifts Direct website, but it is currently unavailable.
A spokesperson for Cadbury said: “We’re always listening to our Cadbury fans and love hearing about the products that they want to try. This year’s Christmas range reflects that and we do have some exciting new, and returning treats for chocolate lovers. Watch this space – all will be revealed soon.”
